What’s included:
– Printed Case Base
– Printed Case Lid
– 2x M3x8mm cap head bolts
– 2x M3 nuts.
NOTE: A couple of modifications are needed to the standard eChook nano for it to fit in the case
– The wires for the bluetooth module need to be soldered directly to the PCB, leave them approximately 70mm long. (Some strain relief at the join such as hot glue is strongly recommended, otherwise the wires will be prone to breaking at the board)
– The ICSP header needs to be removed from the Arduino, either snipped off or de-soldered.
Colours/Materials
The case is printed in PET for durability. The top and bottom surfaces are textured for a less ‘3D Printed’ look. Where possible we use recycled PET filament, denoted as ‘rPET’.
As standard the base will be printed in black, with the lid in the colour chosen. If you would like a different colour combination leave a message at checkout.
The Light Blue and Black options are pictured. The red pictured is a transparent filament that is no longer in stock.
Open Source
As with all eChook offerings for Greenpower, this design is Open Source – if you would like to print your own the STL files can be downloaded here.
Printing Notes: Designed for 0.2mm layer height, good layer adhesion is required or the front latch can break.
