Description

Please note that these are printed to order. We aim to dispatch parts within 4 working days.

The original plastic feet on the Clavinova CLP-810/S pianos have a habit of breaking. This is not a structural replacement for the front foot, but a cover for the broken section to protect peoples toes from the sharp plastic and improve the appearance.

Developed to fit my Yamaha CLP-810S (pictured). Other Clavinovas of the era appear to have similar design feet, but I can’t comment on compatibility.

Side Extensions – If your original plastic is cracked all the way down the side, these are extra covers that can be stuck over the broken plastic and cover the entirety of the foot. Unfortunately due to the print size the main covers can’t be made long enough to cover the while foot.

Fitting Instructions:

  1.  First step is to remove the two cross head screws underneath the front of the old broken foot.
  2.  Either snap (pliers –  eye protection recommended) or cut (hacksaw) the old broken foot back a little more so that the screw holes +15mm of the metal section are cleared.
  3.  Place the new cover over the end and use the screws removed in Step 1 to mount it in place.

The foot cover is printed in black ‘Filamentive ToughPLA’. This is an impact resistant plastic with matt finish that does not look out of place on the piano, however is susceptible to warping if left in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. If your piano is in a conservatory or similar reply to the order confirmation email, and I can use a less aesthetic but more UV resistant plastic.
