I didn’t start this shop with the intention of reselling generic electronics modules, but after receiving BLE modules mis-marketed as HC-05 modules from three different suppliers I realised there was a supply problem. I reached out to all the UK suppliers I could find asking for a guarantee that they were selling the Bluetooth 2.0 version, with the intention of recommending them to teams as a reliable source of replacement Bluetooth modules for the eChook boards. Sadly, all stated they were ‘susceptible to product variations in the Chinese market’.
As a result, I have sourced a small supply of verified Bluetooth 2.0 HC-05 modules.

Naturally, shortly after I received these, thepihut.com also re-stocked on HC-05 modules – I would trust them to provide Bluetooth 2.0 Modules as listed, and being honest – they’re cheaper and quicker than I am if you’re just ordering a single module!
